Elizabeth von Kreisler
PartnerI am an Austin native. I attended Reed College in Portland, Oregon, where I earned a B.A. in Religion in 2002. I graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2007, with high honors. Since then, I have been practicing law in Austin continuously.
For several years, I worked in a boutique litigation law firm in Austin where I focused on business litigation. I began working as a solo practitioner in 2015, and now practice with my colleagues at Gorthey & von Kreisler PLLC. I have co-authored several papers on various civil litigation subjects, such as insurance law, damages, and legal ethics.
Throughout my career, I have represented individuals and businesses, plaintiffs and defendants. I represent clients at the trial and appellate levels, in both state and federal courts. I have worked on a wide variety of cases. My recent cases have involved real estate transactions, business and partnership disputes, fraud, fiduciary duties, and probate matters.
I enjoy getting to know my clients and helping them solve problems.
