I grew up in Texas. I went to undergraduate and law school at the University of Texas at Austin. I graduated from the University of Texas in 1975, and from the University of Texas School of Law in 1978. I have been practicing law continuously since 1978. I have been practicing in Austin since 1984.

After I graduated from law school, I worked with major Texas law firms. I was the shareholder in charge of the litigation section of the Austin office of the Winstead firm when I left in the early 1990's to start my own firm.

Most all of my cases are against lawyers from large law firms. I know how to represent clients against them skillfully and efficiently. I have been doing it successfully for over 40 years.
